Brass

In our opinion, a brass mount provides the most strength for the least amount of material along with unmatched flexibility. If a mount breaks during construction, heat and solder will bring it back to whole. If an object's poise needs to be adjusted a bit more once it's installed, a pair of wrenches on the mount stem will do the trick. These mounts are easily painted out with acrylic paints, so that all you see is the object on display. 
Unless otherwise noted, all Benchmark brass is C360 Free-Machining alloy.
