Headless Stainless Steel Pins
Pinning is a fundamental installation technique, headless pins being used to secure small objects on slanted or vertical surfaces, to stabilize objects with irregular bases or high centers of gravity, to prevent objects from "walking" because of background vibration, or as place markers to insure that pieces are reinstalled correctly after temporary removal. For accuracy and control in pinning, we offer our customized pinning pliers, along with forming pliers and chain-nose pliers to help in shaping the pins. Because you might need to drill holes for your pins, we offer tiny drill bits, color-coded to match our stainless steel pins, along with heat-shrink tubing for when protective padding is required.
Boy, when it came to stainless steel pins, we got so tired of nipping the heads off dressmakers' and insect pins and then filing the ends smooth before use… we went out and had these pins made for us. They are solid stainless steel, not plated, tumbled to remove burrs and rough edges. The sizes are useful for a wide variety of objects and display situations.
Sold in bags of 100 pins, and 50 pins for .045".
Pins ship US Post at no additional cost to the contiguous U.S and Hawaii.
